Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Havana owners praise the color and cleaning ease, but outdoor longevity is less settled

190 distinct owner comments were studied. The source exposed one retailer review pool without review-level variant attribution, so this review covers the shared Havana outdoor-rug family.

Room×Lab rating: 7.5 out of 10 (medium confidence). Strong owner enthusiasm for the design and everyday cleaning lifts the score, while contradictory reports about fading, rain drying, shrinkage, and edge behavior temper it. This assessment covers both Multicolor and Desert Sage.

  • Color makes the strongest first impression: 64 favorable mentions and 1 lower-rating concern in the 190 inspected comments. — Owners often liked the vivid pattern across indoor and outdoor settings. Light sections showing dirt and an isolated printing defect temper the otherwise strong visual response.
  • Routine cleaning is a genuine strength, with caveats: 53 favorable mentions and 2 lower-rating concerns in the 190 inspected comments. — Owners described successful sweeping, hosing, and machine washing, but isolated experiences included a stain surviving washing, shrinkage, slow drying, and difficult realignment of larger covers.
  • Outdoor durability remains the central tradeoff: 13 favorable mentions and 4 lower-rating concerns in the 190 inspected comments. — Some owners reported lasting color and good condition, while others described rapid fading or weather-related drying problems. Curling, shrinkage, and tearing were isolated anecdotes, not universal outcomes.

Before buying

Choose it for vivid color and routine cleanability, but weigh your sun and rain exposure, washer capacity, and tolerance for aligning a large cover against the reported fading and slow-drying concerns.
