Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners praise the value and finish, with occasional panel-consistency misses

All 610 distinct comment-bearing reviews in Quince’s shared Cotton Slub Curtain family were studied, covering both the cotton light-filtering curtain and the room-darkening curtain. The reviews span July 2023 through August 2026. Findings apply to the shared family unless a comment’s lining variant is identified. All 610 were marked as verified-owner and incentivized records in the retailer reviews.

Room×Lab rating: 7.8 out of 10 (medium confidence). A strong owner rating, frequent praise for value, and generally favorable exact-product tests support the score. The main caveat is uneven certainty around panel consistency, light control, cleaning behavior, and long-term durability.

  • Color and finish: 182 favorable mentions; 4 lower-rating concerns — Owners commonly liked the color and finish, but isolated reports describe unexpected undertones, lining-related color shifts, discoloration, or mismatched panels.
  • Value: 151 favorable mentions; 3 lower-rating concerns — Owners frequently felt the fabric, weight, or appearance compared well with more expensive curtains; a few disliked the per-panel pricing.
  • Size and fit: 34 favorable mentions; 1 lower-rating concern — Most counted fit comments were favorable, but separate anecdotes involving short widths, mismatched lengths, and incorrect sizes make paired-panel inspection worthwhile.

Before buying

Budget for two panels per window, expect room-darkening rather than blackout performance, and compare paired panels for length, color, and lining alignment before cleaning.
