Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Easy assembly and appealing design lead, with finish and build caveats

All 322 distinct comment-bearing Article owner reviews for the Leap Floor Lamp - Black were studied, spanning July 2017 through August 2026. The evidence applies to Article related listing; the exposed pool contained no additional related listings, so no shared-variant findings are asserted.

Room×Lab rating: 8.2 out of 10 (limited confidence). A strong retailer-owner average, consistently easy assembly, and favorable value feedback lift the score. The main caveat is mixed task-light performance alongside isolated scratches, loose joints, and unstable bases; long-term durability remains uncertain.

• Assembly is a standout strength: 55 favorable mentions; 1 lower-rating concern — Owners repeatedly found assembly easy or quick, with only an isolated concern in the owner-review evidence.
• The copper accent can look pinker than expected: 27 favorable finish mentions; 1 lower-rating concern — The black-and-copper design attracted many owners, but several otherwise favorable comments also described the polished accent as brighter, pinker, or more rose-gold than expected.
• Initial build impressions are good, not conclusive: 10 favorable durability mentions; 3 lower-rating concerns — Owners often cited substantial weight or a sturdy feel, while scratches, loose joints, and finish defects create a credible quality-control caveat. The reported failures remain isolated anecdotes.

Before buying

Choose it for compact directional lighting and easy assembly, but confirm the 61-inch height, foot-switch access, copper tone, and exposed-bulb glare will suit your space.
