Barbell Floor Lamp - Brass

Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

The Barbell is easy to assemble and place, with value mostly praised

206 distinct owner comments were studied. The pool contained only this Brass review-family member; no cross-variant syndication or additional variant pool was exposed, although Article’s general policy permits reviews from similar colors, fabrics, or finishes to be displayed.

Room×Lab rating: 7.6 out of 10 (medium confidence). A 4.58-star owner average, easy assembly, compact footprint, and widely liked design make this a strong ambient-lighting option. The main caveat is function: multiple owners found it too dim for reading or primary illumination, while long-term durability evidence remains thin.

• Assembly: 36 favorable mentions; 1 lower-rating concern — Among the 206 comments inspected, owners commonly described assembly as quick and easy. One defective-unit report said the sections could not be screwed together, which remains an isolated anecdote.
• Size and fit: 33 favorable mentions; 1 lower-rating concern — The narrow footprint drew favorable comments for condos and tight corners. Some owners nevertheless found the 65-inch lamp shorter than expected or close to eye level.
• Value: 23 favorable mentions; 1 lower-rating concern — Owners in the owner-review evidence often liked the design and construction for the price, while individual concerns involved the brand premium, shipping expense, or finish quality.

Before buying

Choose it for a slim footprint and ceiling-bounced ambient glow; if you need a reading or work light, verify bulb compatibility and output, and make sure its 65-inch height and visible black switched cord suit your room.
