Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 29, 2026
Movie Night owners love the lounge comfort, but cushion upkeep is the fault line
All 316 distinct comment-bearing reviews in Sundays’ shared Movie Night review pool were studied. The pool spans multiple Movie Night configurations, sizes and upholstery variants, so the findings describe the broader Movie Night family.
Room×Lab rating: 7.3 out of 10 (medium confidence). Deep, generous comfort and broadly favorable owner sentiment drive the score; recurring reports of flattening, pilling and frequent reshaping are the main caution, especially because the review pool covers several Movie Night variants.
- Sink-in comfort is the standout: 163 favorable mentions; 23 lower-rating concerns — Owners repeatedly praised lounging and nap comfort, while some wanted more support or found the low, deep seat difficult to rise from.
- Long-term wear is the main reservation: 35 favorable mentions; 18 lower-rating concerns — Positive durability reports coexist with repeated accounts of cushion flattening, pilling, feather escape and misshaping, sometimes after extended use.
- The generous scale suits lounging better than upright sitting: 65 favorable mentions; 5 lower-rating concerns — Owners generally valued the spacious proportions, but fit depends on room size, configuration and tolerance for a very deep, low seat.
Before buying
Buy it for sprawling comfort only after confirming the 135-inch-square fit and accepting regular cushion fluffing, careful cover care and unresolved long-term wear concerns.
